What is the Middle C Snowman Music Spelling Bee Game?
This Middle C snowman music spelling bee game gives beginning piano students a fun way to review treble and bass clef notes in Middle C Position on the grand staff: Bass F to Treble G (F3 to G4). Three-letter spelling words created from the letters of the music alphabet are shown on the grand staff: ACE and FED, for example.
Students figure out the word, roll the dice, and move forward on the game board. The first student to reach the end wins! Your piano students will have tons of fun while becoming more confident in their note identification abilities with this fun and interactive winter note reading game.

How to Play the Middle C Snowman Music Spelling Bee Game
- Students roll the dice to see who goes first. The lowest number goes first.
- The first student draws a card.
- The student identifies the notes and says the word that the notes spell. The student can write the letters onto their score card if desired.
- If the student gets the correct answer, the student rolls the dice and moves their game piece forward.
- If the answer is incorrect, the student doesn’t move forward (or moves backward to make it more interesting!)
- The first person to reach the end wins!
