Sample Story Page: The Handprint Mystery

“Once upon a time, there was a froggy chef who loved to bake delicious treats. One day, as he was preparing to make his world-famous chocolate chip cookies, he noticed that there were flour handprints all over his kitchen!

Froggy knew that he couldn’t have made those prints himself because he had just washed his hands. So he traded his baker’s cap for a detective hat and began to investigate.

Froggy hopped around the kitchen, examining each set of handprints.

As he looked more closely, he noticed that some of the handprints were right handprints, and some of the handprints were left handprints.

Once he noticed this detail, Froggy knew who had been in his kitchen that day!

Who do you think had been in Froggy’s kitchen?”
