What is Google Slides?

Google Slides is an online program for creating slide presentations. Think of it as being similar to PowerPoint (or Keynote if you’re a Mac user), but you use it online.

You need an account to login to Google Slides, which you may already have! Do you use Gmail? Then you already have an account.

You don’t need to download anything to your computer or other device to use Google Slides. There is a Google Slides app that you can download to your devices if you want, but if you don’t want to do that, you can use the online version.

One of the best features is that it automatically saves your work – so no more lost work! And it’s so easy to use.

Watch the tutorial video below to see just how easy it is to edit and use these editable recital kits in Google Slides.

Hi! I’m Melody Payne, a pianist and piano teacher, educational resource author, a fun-loving wife to the most wonderful and talented hubby I could ask for, and a lifelong learner who loves to share. I want to make your life as a music teacher easier by writing and sharing helpful and relevant music teaching articles, and by creating educational resources with your very own students in mind. If you are a parent who wants to enroll your child in piano lessons, I’d love for us to get started building those skills that can give your child a lifetime of musical enjoyment!
