Description

Do you have a difficult time getting your piano students to learn their music terms and symbols? This video game-style digital Boom Cards game will give your elementary level students the practice they need to learn 12 music terms and symbols and their definitions! A quick and easy review option -with no prep for you – that will help your piano students better understand the parts of a music note, as well as important beginning music symbols.

Students will love beginning the game with 3 lives and earning gold stars for each correct answer they receive! Incorrect answers send students to a “Bomb” card and they lose a life before trying to answer a new question.

**Please Note: These cards cannot be randomized because correct answers take students to different cards than incorrect answers do.

⭐️ Your PDF Download Includes:

  • A clickable link to add this deck of 93 Boom Cards to your BOOM™ Learning account.
  • These music terms and symbols Boom Cards are self-checking, so students immediately know (and so do you!) if they’ve answered each card correctly.

Order of Questions:

  • Note stem
  • Beam
  • Dot
  • Staff
  • Note head
  • Treble clef
  • Bar line
  • Space note
  • Bass clef

If a student misses one or more questions, they will also receive these additional questions:

  • Measure
  • Line note
  • Repeat sign

Use This Boom Cards Game in Your Piano Studio:

  • As a fun game at the end of an online or in-person piano lesson.
  • As a music theory assignment for at-home practice.
  • As a quick assessment to see if your student understands the music terms and symbols included in this deck.

Why Use Digital Boom Cards?

  • NO prep! Quick and easy to pull up on your computer or tablet device during any online or in-person piano lesson.
  • Self-grading – Almost all Boom Cards are self-grading and students immediately know if they have answered a card correctly or incorrectly.
  • Track student progress – Student progress can be tracked inside the app, so you can see if they are improving with specific piano and music theory concepts.
  • No storage space required – Boom Cards are all housed in the Boom Learning “cloud” on their website & require no cutting, printing, laminating or storage – physical or digital!
