Practice Tips for Jesus Paid it All intermediate Easter piano sheet music

There are several sections in this arrangement that could be challenging. First, is the left hand reach in measures 9-11. The intervals do not have to be played super quickly and can be tastefully woven into the arrangement in a style that is comfortable for the pianist. This is a good place to begin to decide exactly how the pacing for the entire piece should be.

Another beautiful yet challenging section is when it modulates to A-flat and the right hand has the melody woven in between a lot of sixteenth notes. The goal here is to be able to keep a warmth to the melody while the extra notes do not overpower it but support it. If you struggle to bring out the melody, practice “shadow playing” the non-melody notes (play the melody notes and just place your fingers on the other notes without actually sounding them).
