Description
If your young students are playing with 5 fingers, they can play this entertaining piece! It stands alone as an interesting and rewarding latin style recital choice, but is so fun with the teacher accompaniment that you’ll want to play this with every student! Syncopated rhythms are easy to grasp by rote and most of the technique required uses the whole hand…only a few instances of independent fingers are needed. *Note that my choices of rests in the syncopated rhythms are to help your student see how the hands line up and easily find the rhythmic patterns. Note:in the video you will hear a shorter version of this piece, as it skips the optional repeat and moves straight to the second ending.
